Our Process

Operation of the Package System between Travelers and Individuals

  1. Posting of the Announcement by the Traveler
    1. The traveler creates an announcement detailing the specifications of their next departure (destination, dates, available space, type of package, reward).
  2. Choice of Traveler by the Sender
    1. The Sender logs onto the MotYasï website and performs a trip search.
    2. If interested in a traveler's announcement, the sender accepts the connection to communicate.
    3. The sender then chooses the traveler they deem most trustworthy.
    4. Connection Requirements:
      1. Complete user account (photo, ID, and payment method)
      2. Choose a traveler
      3. Pay connection fees and reward by chosen method
    5. Upon payment validation, a code to transmit to the package receiver is generated.
    6. Communication messaging opens.
  3. Package Pickup
    1. The traveler and sender agree on the pickup location and perform checks.
    2. The package will be sealed in front of the traveler after content check.
  4. Package Handover
    1. The sender takes a photo of the traveler with the package to send to the receiver.
    2. The package is ready to be delivered.
    3. Upon delivery, the receiver provides the carrier security code to confirm delivery.

General Terms of Use for the Sender

Why do I need to add information such as my passport, flight details, etc.?

As you know, travelers are invited to ship items from people around the world. Senders must pay the connection fees and the traveler's reward online in advance. Certain guarantees must be presented for the traveler to feel secure when using the application, such as:

  1. A copy of the sender's ID; to identify the sender
  2. A portrait photo of the sender
  3. The sender's means of payment (credit card, PayPal, etc.) to validate the request.

There is no reason to worry, all your data is secure and protected by Stripe and we consider the information you insert into the application as highly confidential; therefore, it is not shared with any other party and cannot be misused.

What should be the traveler's commitment?

The traveler must abide by the agreement they made via the application; they must follow the routing and ensure delivery in person. If there is a delay in receiving a package, they must communicate directly with the buyer through MotYasï messaging.

If a package is stolen in front of the traveler's house, it is the responsibility of the traveler to manage the situation and compensate the buyer for the lost package.

And if the traveler had to pay customs?

The MotYasï concept does not authorize the transport of goods related to import-export.

What happens if the Traveler delays or cancels their Trip?

MotYasï is a solidarity service and not a traditional freight company. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the exact time of delivery of your packages. The traveler may sometimes delay or cancel their trip for personal or professional reasons. In case of a traveler's delay, you can cancel the transaction and ship your package with another traveler.

What happens if my package is in a bag lost by a railway or airline company?

MotYasï does not insure any package lost by the transport company. Companies usually insure lost baggage. MotYasï only ensures against theft committed by the Traveler themselves.

How do I know if a package was lost by an airline company or stolen by a traveler?

Companies provide the traveler with a document in case of baggage loss. MotYasï will ask the Traveler for it as proof.

The traveler must display their available space, the type of package they wish to transport, and the rewards allocated, for transparency reasons. Certain guarantees must be presented for the sender to feel secure when using the application, such as:

  1. A copy of the traveler's ID to identify them
  2. A portrait photo of the traveler
  3. The sender's means of payment to receive the reward, after the package delivery.

Can I check the components of a package?

The traveler has full right to check, inspect, and reseal the components of the package in front of the sender. Therefore, you must be sure of what is in your bag. We strongly recommend travelers not to accept any closed packages for the safety of both parties.

How can I get paid?

MotYasï employs the most common and straightforward payment procedures to ensure the security of sender payment details and achieve full engagement in their payment transfers.

Here is a list of our payment guidelines and settlement standards:

  • Traveler rewards are transferred within 2 to 4 business days. Once the traveler has delivered all relevant shipments indicated during their trip (for each trip separately), the payment will be reflected in the bank account within the mentioned period.
  • Make sure all your deliveries are validated by the receipt code on your device to be marked as 'Delivered'; therefore, your payment will be automatically endorsed and settled as mentioned earlier.
  • Bank transfer is the only available option to receive your reward.

How to add your payment details:

  1. Open the MotYasï application.
  2. Go to the 'More' tab.
  3. Select 'Payment Details'.
  4. Add the required fields.
  5. Select 'Save Payment Method'.
  6. Once you add your payment details, your rewards will be transferred, taking between 2 and 4 business days to reflect in your bank account.

MotYasï does not support cash payments for your reward. The money amount will be received in your bank's local currency. Bank transfer and processing fees applied represent (2 $ + 5 %) of your total rewards. The transfer is made based on the USD rate on the day the buyer pays the offer on the MotYasï application.

If your transaction takes longer than expected, ensure your payment details are correct first, then contact support@motyasi.com for guidance or to update us with the correct details. However, we temporarily inform our travelers to be fully aware of the situation and measures taken to overcome and successfully complete it.

If your payment has been successfully processed from our payment gateway and has not reflected in your account, we recommend contacting your bank directly regarding your ongoing transactions to be informed of any misinformation and/or delays that may occur. Then, please also report to MotYasï via the application so that we can communicate with the concerned gateway to resolve the issue (if it is on their end).

To report a payment issue: Open the MotYasï application. Go to your 'Travel History' tab at the bottom center of the screen. Select the trip related to your request. At the top left, go to the three dots at the top of the screen. Select 'Publish a Trip', fill in the required field, then 'Submit', and we will contact you shortly.

Payment Decline:

If the payment has been declined by your relevant bank, we strongly recommend contacting your bank directly to find out why. MotYasï assumes no responsibility for any financial liability in the event of bank refusal or additional fees that may be declared and/or issued to delay your payment.

The bank may confirm that the transactions on your account are normal and do not present any issues; in this case, please contact support@motyasi.com for internal action and to send you the common results.

To receive payments, we ask the traveler to upload their up-to-date document, which will be a valid ID. A bank account in the traveler's name must be provided to receive the reward. If the traveler cannot provide a bank account in their name, except for a bank account of a parent or friend, which can be provided in certain circumstances, for more information, please contact support at support@motyasi.com

Does MotYasï charge fees to travelers?

MotYasï is entirely free for travelers and we do not charge any commission for package delivery. However, bank transfer and processing fees are deducted when we send their payments to bank accounts. The applied fees are $2 + 5% of your total rewards.

What types of items can a traveler deliver?

Travelers can deliver any legal item that can fit in a suitcase, such as clothing, shoes, bags, light electronic devices, etc.

Travelers must always inspect the contents of the package. We strongly advise travelers not to accept any sealed packages for the safety of both parties. The buyer and the traveler must comply with the country's regulations regarding customs and imported goods.

  • Aerosols and flammable liquids
  • Batteries
  • Any item prohibited by the law of the place of origin, destination, or any jurisdiction through which the item will be transported
  • Any product or item related to illegal activities, such as the production of illegal drugs
  • Illegal drugs
  • Live animals
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives
  • Human remains
  • Stolen property
  • Counterfeit goods or currency
  • Sex toys and related products
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Hazardous goods as defined by IATA
